TL; DR
- The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r will launch soon in India. They bring a fresh case and stem-style earbud design.
- Battery life jumps to 54 hours from 38 hours.
- Other specs remain mostly the same as the Nord Buds 2r. The price is expected to stay at ₹2,199.
We’ve got exclusive details on the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 3r, which will soon take the spot of the Nord Buds 2r, OnePlus’ entry-level TWS. While the overall package is familiar, the new model introduces a new design and a big upgrade in battery life.
The Nord Buds 2r had a pebble-style case and a short stem design with circular dents for touch controls. The Nord Buds 3r move closer to the look of the Buds 4, bringing a longer stem and a vertical oval-shaped touch area.

The color has also been adjusted, with a lighter, muted blue replacing the darker tone from before. The case now takes a squircle rectangular form with rounded corners and sharper edges, with the OnePlus logo and a front charging indicator.

Inside, the Nord Buds 3r still uses the 12.4 mm titanium-coated drivers found on the Nord Buds 2r. The big change is in endurance, as battery life has been pushed to 54 hours, from the 38 hours offered on the 2r. A quick 10-minute charge can deliver up to 8 hours of playback.

The Bluetooth version gets a minor bump to 5.4, and charging continues via USB Type-C.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r are expected to launch in India very soon, with pricing likely unchanged at ₹2,199, just like the Nord Buds 2r. What are your thoughts on the Nord Buds 3r? Let us know in the comments section below.
