Sonos claims to build premium products that not only last but also get better over time. The company says, “Since our earliest days, we’ve used meaningful software updates to deliver new features to existing products, from 24-bit audio support and Trueplay, to the recently debuted Speech Enhancement technology on Arc Ultra,” said Jason White, Head of Software at Sonos. So, all these new capabilities are a part of the core philosophy that the brand follows. Sonos Ace Headphones are getting these new features-

Smoother, More Natural Calling Experience- Users will enjoy clearer and more natural conversations, remaining connected through high-resolution calls and SideTone, which enables them to hear a portion of their own voice during calls while Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is activated.

Realistic Surround Sound- Sonos’ cutting-edge TruCinema Technology has been designed exclusively for the Sonos Ace. It comprehends the dynamics of your environment, acoustically optimizes it, and creates the impression of a finely tuned 3D audio system within your headphones.

Enhanced Noise Cancellation- Listeners can now experience seamless audio enjoyment with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that adjusts in real-time to accommodate hair, glasses, and hats, utilizing sophisticated sensors to counteract sound leaks.

Personal Home Theater For Two- The TV Audio Swap feature has been enhanced, allowing two separate listeners to experience the same TV audio simultaneously through their individual Sonos Ace headphones when paired with a Sonos soundbar.

Talking about the new features, Chris Kallai, VP Product at Sonos, says, “We’re pleased to deliver experiences we’ve heard our customers ask for, like the ability for two people to watch TV with their Sonos Ace headphones at the same time. We’ve also worked hard on our TrueCinema technology to create an incredible open-air listening effect so it feels like you aren’t wearing headphones. Our goal has always been to create products that earn their place in people’s lives for years, and this Sonos Ace update is a great example of that. It proves that your best tech investment doesn’t need to be your newest, it just has to be built right.”

The new capabilities will roll out on Sonos Ace via a free software update starting today.
