As of November 6, 7:30 AM IST, Sony has launched a major update for the PlayStation Portal — one that officially enables cloud streaming of PS5 games on the device. The update allows PlayStation Plus Premium members to stream select digital PS5 games from their library on the PS5 without a linked PS5 console.
In addition to the library, the update includes hundreds of titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and the Classics Catalogue, now streamable.

Redesigned Interface With New Streaming Tabs
The Portal’s user interface has been redesigned. It now includes three main tabs on the home screen: Remote Play (for streaming from your PS5 console), Cloud Streaming (for streaming PS5 games from your library), and Search (a new search interface to check streaming compatibility of games).
Added Features Enhance the Overall Experience
The update also includes additional features that improve the overall gaming experience of users. These include 3D Audio Support during Remote Play and Cloud Streaming (with compatible gear) to enhance the audio delivery and immersion, new accessibility options, in-game Store access that lets you make purchases while streaming via the cloud, a passcode lock for the device, and a network status screen to check connection quality.

Supported Games at Launch
Some of the PS5 digital games explicitly mentioned as supposed at launch include Astro Bot, Borderlands 4, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Grand Theft Auto V, and Resident Evil 4. Other games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue that support cloud streaming include Cyberpunk 2077, God of War Ragnarok, Hogwarts Legacy, Sword of the Sea, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
