TL; DR
  • vivo has confirmed that both the X300 and X300 Pro will ship with ZEISS 2.35x teleconverter lenses.
  • On the X300, this equals a 165 mm focal length, while the X300 Pro stretches to 200 mm, matching the X200 Ultra.
  • Both phones launch October 13 with flat displays, ultra-thin bezels, and OriginOS 6.

vivo has officially revealed that the upcoming vivo X300 and vivo X300 Pro will include ZEISS 2.35x teleconverter lenses, making long-range photography also a major focus of this generation. The X300 gets a silver version of the lens, while the X300 Pro comes with a black variant that includes a proper holding mount for stability.

On the X300, the teleconverter translates to around 165 mm focal length, and on the X300 Pro it reaches 200 mm, the latter identical to what we saw on last year’s X200 Ultra. Both models are also expected to feature a teleconverter shooting mode for easier zoom integration in the camera app.

Design and hardware details also surfaced. The X300 Pro has been slimmed down to 7.9 mm and features a 6.78-inch flat display with ultra-thin symmetrical bezels and flat edges.

The standard X300 is smaller, with a 6.3-inch flat panel but carries the same design language. Both devices feature a large circular camera module, and the X300 Pro adds an extra button on the left side, likely an action button similar to what vivo introduced on the X Fold5.

Both phones will ship with OriginOS 6 and are scheduled to launch on October 13 in China, just days ahead of OPPO’s Find X9 series.
