Vivo X200 tipped to be a compact smartphone powered by Dimensity 9400 SoC: October launch expected

Vivo is gearing up to announce the next X-Series smartphones globally as well as in India later this year. The Vivo X200 Series will include two devices- Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro which will be the successors to Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro launched last year. The Vivo X200 Series is tipped to arrive in India in October, however, months ahead of the launch a reliable tipster has shared some details about the Vivo X200 series.

Vivo X200 Lineup: Leaks & Rumors

Tipster Digital Chat Station has spilled details about some key specs of the Vivo X200 lineup. His latest post talks about Vivo X200 wherein the tipster claims that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and feature a 1.5K flat OLED display. According to the tipster, the Vivo X200 will have a compact form factor and a display smaller than the predecessor Vivo X100.

The Vivo X200 is tipped to come with a 50MP triple lens setup at the back including a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It will feature Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip that will make photography even better.

DCS also claims that the Vivo X200 prototype has an optical under-screen fingerprint unlocking system.

Earlier the tipster had claimed that the Vivo X200 Pro with model number V2413 will have a 6.7 or 6.8-inch curved edge OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. The pro version is expected to come with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and pack a massive 5400mAh battery under the hood.

More details about the Vivo X200 Series will be known as the month of launch draws closer and Vivo itself confirms the lineup.
