Saiyaara by Mohit Suri and Yashraj Studios has been making lots of buzz ever since the first look of the movie was revealed. The songs followed by the trailer have struck a chord with the masses, and this Aneet Padda and Ahaan Pandey starrer is all set to leave behind quite a few biggies in terms of opening day collections. Saiyaara Movie: OTT Platform & Release Date
OTTPlay claims that the movie will stream on Netflix India after its theatrical run. Mostly, the movies release on OTT four weeks after their theatrical run, but that also depends on the response in cinemas. The OTT release date hasn’t been announced yet, but it won’t hit the digital screens before August end or the beginning of September.
Mohit Suri’s strong rapport with Netflix hints at it being the OTT partner for Saiyaara. Ek Villain Returns and Malang, both his last releases, also streamed on Netflix.

The movie revolves around Krish Kapoor, a fast-rising musician who struggles to come to terms with the harsh realities of the industry. His harsh world is turned upside down when he meets Vaani, a talented songwriter, and sparks fly instantly. They soon fall in love and start a turbulent yet beautiful relationship. Will it survive, or will love make them bear a heavy cost?
Saiyaara Movie: B.O. Collections
The movie is set to take a big opening today, earning around 24 crore at the box office on day one. Given the budget of 36 crore, it makes the movie a blockbuster on day one.

Is Saiyaara actually Aashiqui 3?
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mohit Suri confirmed that he was initially thinking about making Aashiqui 3 with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt, which was not announced as Saiyaara. When he pitched the draft of this one, things were better between Bhatt and T-Series. After their fallout, Luv Ranjan urged Mohit Suri to develop this as a separate film, and Yashraj Films saw potential in it.
