Ahead of the official launch event on January 6, 2026 (at 12 PM IST), realme India has unveiled some details about the realme 16 Pro 5G. Initially, the handset was said to feature a MediaTek chip; now we also know the model and its benchmark scores. In addition, the battery capacity has also been revealed.

realme 16 Pro Processor & Display

First and foremost, the realme 16 Pro 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 7300-Max chipset, which scores around 970K points on the AnTuTu benchmark (version unknown). In addition to the chipset, the handset will also feature an AirFlow vapor chamber to help sustain performance.

Out of the box, the realme 16 Pro will run Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16. Another key detail about the handset is that it will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 6,500 nits.

realme 16 Pro Battery Capacity

We also know the handset will include a 7,000 mAh battery that supports fast wired charging, but the charging speed remains unclear. While these are the new details revealed by the brand, we already know that the realme 16 Pro will flaunt a 200MP primary camera.
