Nothing Phone 2a Goes Official in India: Starts at INR 23,999

Nothing, the company founded by Carl Pei, has recently unveiled its latest addition to its smartphone lineup. Following the success of Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2, the brand has now introduced a budget-friendly smartphone called Nothing Phone 2a in the Indian market. This strategic move by Nothing aims to expand its presence and cater to a wider audience in India. The Nothing Phone 2a promises to deliver a harmonious combination of performance, design, and affordability. Additionally, the upcoming ‘Fresh Eyes’ Event will witness the introduction of Buds and Neckband Pro, both falling under the CMF branding.

Nothing Phone 2a, CMF Buds, CMF Neckband Pro: Price & Availability

Nothing Phone 2a will be available in three storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 23,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 25,999
  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 27,999

It will retail via Flipkart in black and white shades.

The phone 2a will be available for Rs. 19,999 via Flipkart on March 12 only.

CMF Buds are priced at Rs. 2499.

CMF Neckband Pro is priced at Rs. 1999.

Both these products will go on sale tomorrow via Flipkart, the CMF website, and Myntra.

Nothing Phone 2a: Specs

Nothing Phone 2a is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. At the front is a 6.7-inch HD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness. The smartphone runs Android 14-based NothingOS 2.5 and packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 45W wired fast charging capability. Nothing has promised three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.

In terms of the camera, there is a dual-lens setup at the back. It includes two 50MP sensors. At the front is a 32MP selfie camera. Nothing Phone 2a will come in white and black shades. Glyph interface design works not only as a timer but also shows notifications for calls, and messages based on priority. It has the slimmest 2.1mm bezels all around the display in comparison to Nothing Phone 1 which had 2.6mm bezels. Advanced vapor chamber cooling system claims to offer a good thermal performance during gaming.

The features of the device include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Dual 5G, Linear Haptic Motor, 360-degree antenna, Fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, advanced hotspot, face unlock, and hybrid coexistence 2.0. Nothing Phone 2a is IP54 rated.

CMF Buds: Specs

Buds by CMF are equipped with 12.4mm dynamic drivers and Ultra Bass Technology 2.0. The buds come with low lag mode for gaming and dual device connection for better efficiency. The TWS are IP54 rated and support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Active Noise Cancellation is available up to 42dB and the high-definition audio is tuned by Dirac. The buds come with 6.5 hours of runtime on their own and 35.5 hours of playback time with the case.

CMF Neckband Pro: Specs

Neckband Pro by CMF is equipped with Active Noise Cancellation up to 50dB. The neckband pro supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, dual device connection, spatial audio effect, and 5 HD audio technology. CMF has equipped Neckband Pro with a smart dial 3-in-1 intuitive sound control and made it IP55-rated. The CMF Neckband Pro offers 37 hours of playback time with a full charge and 18 hours of playback time with 10 minutes of superfast charging.
