Animated mythological epic saga ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ released in cinemas on 25^th July in 3D and in five Indian languages. The movie has received a great response from the audiences nationwide. This spiritually charged tale emerged as highest highest-grossing animated Indian movie of all time, collecting 91.25 crores in the first 10 days of its release, while biggies like Dhadak 2 and Son of Sardar 2 are struggling to find audiences. The Kannada Mythological saga will soon make its way to OTT. Read on to know more.

Mahavatar Narsimha: OTT Release Date & Platform

Trade analyst Rohit Jaiswal claims that the movie will stream on JioHotstar OTT Platform in Hindi. Previously, Hindi dubbed versions of Salaar and Raajkakumara were also released on the same platform.

The Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions might stream on different regional platforms after the movie exhausts its theatrical run. The movie is expected to stream on OTT in late August or early September.

The movie is directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai under Kleem Productions, presented by Homable Films.

Mahavatar Narsimha: Plot

It marks the first entry in a planned seven-part animated cinematic universe inspired by the Dashavatara, the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

This particular part explores the story of demon Hiranyakashyap, who seeks revenge on Vishnu and declares himself a god. His son, Prahlad, remains devoted to Vishnu. Vishnu manifests as Narsimha to defeat the demon and restore balance.
