There is good news for all smartphone gaming lovers. One of the most popular battle royale games, BGMI or Battlegrounds Mobile India, is returning to the Indian market via Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The franchise has revealed that they have got a green flag from the government of India for restarting their operations related to BGMI in the country.

In a statement, BGMI officials said, “We are highly grateful to the Indian authorities for letting use to resume operations of Battlegrounds Mobile India. We would like to extent our gratitude towards the Indian gaming community for their patience and support.”

The ban was imposed on the game last year, but this time, the government didn’t ask the telecom service providers (TSPs) and internet service providers (ISPs) to ban the game. This means all the users who had the game installed on their devices were able to play it even after the ban. However, these people were unable to get the updates of the game Krafton also stopped publishing new versions of the game.

The upliftment of the ban means all the players will be able to download the latest version of BGMI from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Until now, there has been no confirmation regarding the relaunch date of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Expectations are that we will soon get to know about the exact launch date via BGMI officials.

What is going to change?

BGMI has always been at the top of the battle royale games list of most gamers when it was into action. Speculations are that the game will climb to the top of the market in no time and give tough competition to other battle royale games like Call of Duty Mobile, Free Fire Max, PUBG New State, and others. Not only this, but the battle royale market will get pretty heated up at the time when games like Indus Battle Royale and others will enter the market.
