Lenovo Z5

Lenovo has announced its new mid-range phone, the Lenovo Z5, globally in China. On the face of it, the handset features latest octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, 19:9 screen aspect ratio display with a notch, and runs on the latest Android platform - Oreo (v 8.1). Talking about the Lenovo Z5 specifications, the phone sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ (2560X1440) resolution IPS LCD display from the front. The display has an iPhone X-like notch on top, which house front camera, earpiece, and sensors. The Lenovo Z5 rocks 2Ghz octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The Lenovo Z5, on the camera front, features a dual 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors on the rear with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture lens, HDR+ support. Up front, its front camera has an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture lens and AI-support. Keeping the phone up and running is a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support and Android Oreo 8.1-based ZUI 4.0, respectively. Other notable features of Lenovo Z5 include hybrid dual-SIM, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Lenovo Z5 price is set at 1,299 yuan (roughly Rs 13,500) for its base 64GB storage variant and 1,799 yuan (roughly to Rs 18,500) for its 128GB storage model. The phone comes in three color variants - Black, Blue, and Aurora - to choose between. The Lenovo Z5 India launch is expected to happen in the second half of 2018.
