Xiaomi to launch Civi 5 Pro this Month with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC: India Debut Also Expected

Recently, two smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset were launched in China: the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro and the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. Now, a third device is expected to be introduced featuring this new SoC. Xiaomi is anticipated to unveil the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro in China this month, and details about its launch schedule and various features have also emerged online.

Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro: Launch Timeline & Details

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will draw power from the Snapdragon 8s Gen4 chipset. To recall, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro was launched in March 2024 with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

The Civi 5 Pro will reportedly feature a 50MP telephoto sensor at the back, but whether it will be a standard telephoto lens or a periscope lens remains to be seen. Both front and back cameras will offer better low-light photography.

Civi 5 Pro will feature a medium-sized OLED quad-curved screen with a 1.5K resolution and slim bezels on all four sides. Under the hood, it will have a 6000mAh+ battery that supports 67W charging.

Xiaomi will offer the Civi 5 Pro at competitive pricing. It might cost 3500 yuan to 4000 yuan. Like last year, when Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro came to India as Xiaomi 14 Civi, this year too, Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro might come to the country as Xiaomi 15 Civi.
