Xiaomi 15 CIVI Launch Timeline (Expected)
In an X (formerly known as Twitter) post on May 18, 2025. Indian tipster Yogesh Brar mentioned that the Xiaomi 15 CIVI is expected to “launch soon.” Although the launch date of the handset isn’t confirmed yet, we expect the next iteration in the CIVI lineup to break cover by late June or early July. That’s when the phone is likely to hit the Indian smartphone market.
Regarding its global debut, the Xiaomi 15 CIVI, or the Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro, is expected to launch in China on May 22, 2025. Codenamed “Little 15,” the upcoming CIVI-branded handset could be the most capable model in the lineup. From what it looks like, the Indian launch of the Xiaomi CIVI 15 will follow roughly a month and a few weeks after the CIVI 5 Pro’s launch in China.

Xiaomi 15 CIVI Specifications (Expected)

Regarding specifications, the Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro is expected to feature a 6.55-inch 1.5K micro-curved display with 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset (released in April 2025), and come in two RAM and storage variants, which might as well be the same as the Xiaomi 14 Civi (8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB).
The handset could also feature a 50MP Leica floating telephoto sensor, a 6,000 mAh battery that should provide an excellent screen-on time (with support for 67W fast wired charging), and run on HyperOS 2.0 (based on Android 15) out of the box. Last but not least, the phone is said to be relatively slim compared to its competitors at 7.45mm.

Xiaomi 15 CIVI Price (Expected)
In addition to the aforementioned details, Brar mentioned that the phone could be released in India with three colors. As mentioned in our roundup, the Xiaomi 15 CIVI may cost around Rs. 45,000, at least for the baseline variant. In India, the handset will compete with the likes of the realme GT 7, the OnePlus 13R, and the Galaxy S24 FE.
