TL; DR
  • The Maximum 116.5-inch smart TV features a QLED + MiniLED panel. This combines quantum dots for richer color and a dense grid of tiny LEDs with 5184 dimming zones for the highest contrast.
  • The screen can achieve 2,000 nits of peak brightness, which is, yet again, a vital feature for a screen that’s this large.
  • Under the hood, the device runs on Google TV 5.0 (based on Android 14), allowing users to access a wide variety of apps via the Google Play Store.
  • As exciting as the Maximum 116.5-inch Smart Google TV’s specifications sound on paper, the company has not announced a price or release date for the product.

Wobble Displays, the consumer technology arm of the indigenous brand Indkal Technologies, has launched India’s largest television: the Maximus Series 116.5-inch Google TV 5.0. In a market that international brands like Sony, Samsung, and LG dominate, releasing a big-screen Google TV is commendable (and, quite frankly, very brave). Without any further ado, let’s dive right into its specifications, features, and price.

Wobble Displays Maximum Series 116.5-inch TV: Key Specifications

First and foremost, the Maximum 116.5-inch smart TV features a QLED + MiniLED panel. This combines quantum dots for richer color and a dense grid of tiny LEDs with 5184 dimming zones for the highest contrast. While the technology’s impact would have been higher on a smaller screen, it should, in theory, improve the 116.5-inch screen as well (we’d like to see the television in person to know more).

The screen can achieve 2,000 nits of peak brightness, which is, yet again, a vital feature for a screen that’s this large. Furthermore, the screen supports a 144Hz native refresh rate, making it one of the smoothest displays in its category. So, while regular users will enjoy the picture quality, gamers will appreciate the native support for the high refresh rate. In addition, the smart TV supports Dolby Vision Atmos.

Complementing the gigantic display is a 240W 6.2.2-channel audio system, which features two dedicated woofers designed to produce a rich, room-filling surround sound. However, users who opt for a 116.5-inch smart TV might have already decided to install a home theater system (which doesn’t detract from the TV’s audio output).

Under the hood, the device runs on Google TV 5.0 (based on Android 14), allowing users to access a wide variety of apps via the Google Play Store.

Wobble Displays Maximum Series 116.5-inch TV: Price & Availability

As exciting as the Maximum 116.5-inch Smart Google TV’s specifications sound on paper, the company has not announced a price or release date for the product.

The closest competitor to the Maximum 116.5-inch QD Mini-LED TV, the TCL X95 115-inch X955 QD-Mini LED TV, costs well over Rs. 25 lakhs in India (provided that you can find the product in stock at a retail or online store). Hence, there’s a good chance that Wobble Displays could price its premium product at a similar price.
