vivo T4R 5G Launched in India with Slimmest Quad-Curved Display in Segment: Pricing Announced

Tech giant vivo has introduced the fifth member of the T4 Series in India today. vivo T4R 5G has launched in India, which is the slimmest quad-curved smartphone with a thickness of just 0.739cm. The smartphones are packed with industry-leading features like a 5700mAh battery, Dimensity 7400 chipset, 32MP main sensor, and more. The other members of the vivo T4 family are vivo T4 5G, vivo T4x 5G, vivo T4 Lite 5G, and vivo T4 Ultra 5G.

Talking about the launch, Pankaj Gandhi, Chief Business Officer, Online Business, vivo India, says, “Built for adventure seekers and packing Turbo Performance DNA, the new vivo T4R is engineered to provide an uncompromised all-around experience. The phone blends elegant design, powerful performance, and ruggedness to meet the needs of our young audiences. With several segment-leading features, we are confident that the phone will be received well by our consumers.”

vivo T4R 5G: Price & Availability

The vivo T4R 5G comes in three storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage-INR 17,499
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- INR 19,499
  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- INR 21,499

It comes in Arctic White and Twilight Blue colors and will go on sale starting 5th August across Flipkart, vivo India e-store, and retail stores.

The brand is also offering instant discounts of INR 2000 or INR 2000 exchange bonus along with no-cost EMI for up to 6 months.

vivo T4R 5G: Features

The vivo T4R 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage onboard. It features the segment’s sleekest quad-curved display, a 6.77-inch Curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, SGS Low Blue Light, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

In terms of camera, the vivo T4R 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX822 main sensor at the back, along with Studio Quality Auro Light for sharp and steady images. At the front is a 32MP selfie sensor supporting 4K video recording. There is also an underwater photography mode to capture unique moments, whether in a pool or at the beach.

The vivo T4R 5G runs FunTouch OS 15 and comes with 2 years of OS and 3 years of promised security updates. AI capabilities include AI Documents, Circle to Search, AI Note Assist, AI Screen Translation, and AI Transcript. AI Erase 2.0 is also available.

Under the hood, it packs a 5700mAh battery with 44W fast charging support, and the device is IP68 and IP69 rated for durability. It is further MIL-STD 810 military grade certified, along with SGS Five-Star Drop resistance.

For gaming and multitasking, the vivo T4R 5G comes with Ultra Game Mode, Large Graphite Cooling Area, 12GB Extended RAM, and more.
