As the festive season draws near with the end of monsoon showers, smartphone brands are gearing up for a wave of launches to entice shoppers ahead of Diwali. September 2025 is particularly exciting, headlined by Apple’s iPhone 17 series and a host of mid-range and budget options from Samsung, OPPO, Motorola, Lava, and others. Here’s a roundup of all the upcoming smartphones in September 2025.

1. Motorola Razr 60 Brilliant Collection (Swarovski Edition)

Motorola’s premium foldable refresh, the Razr 60 Brilliant Collection, is confirmed to launch on September 1, 2025. This special edition will feature a quilted vegan leather back with 35 hand-placed Swarovski crystals on the hinge, crystal-inspired volume and power buttons, and a Pantone Ice Melt colorway.

Internals match the standard Razr 60, including a foldable design with a Dimensity 7400X chipset, 6.9-inch inner pOLED display (120Hz), 3.6-inch outer display, dual rear cameras (50MP main with OIS, 13MP ultra-wide), 32MP selfie, and 4,500 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Matching Moto Buds Loop earbuds with Swarovski accents may launch alongside. The expected pricing is higher than the standard Razr 60’s ₹64,999, likely around ₹80,000 to ₹90,000 due to the premium design.

2. iPhone 17 Series

The iPhone 17 Air will feature ultra-slim design (5.5–5.6mm), lightweight build, 2,900 mAh battery, single 48MP rear camera, 24MP selfie camera, and A19 Pro chipset with fewer GPU cores. It is also said to use Apple’s custom 5G modem, vapor chamber cooling, and be eSIM-only across the entire world.

Non-LTPO panels are reserved for the base and Air models, while Pro models include anti-reflective, scratch-resistant glass, aluminum frames (titanium is gone), and a redesigned stretched camera island with a half-glass/half-aluminum back. Pro models also start with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, powered by the A19 Pro.

Camera upgrades include a new 48MP telephoto (3.5X zoom on Pro or up to 8X on Pro Max). They also support 8K recording and dual front/rear video capture. The Pro Max brings a larger battery exceeding 5,000 mAh.
