The California-based audio manufacturer Sonos has launched the new Arc Ultra soundbar, Sub 4 subwoofer, and the Era 100 Pro speaker in India. While the soundbar comes with a new feature called Sound Motion technology, the Sub 4 subwoofer has dual woofers for distortion-free bass.

The Era 100 Pro, on the other hand, is built for professionals. All the devices will be available in India starting May 8, 2025.

Sonos Arc Ultra Soundbar

First and foremost, the Arc Ultra is the “sleekest and most powerful soundbar” the company has ever created. It houses a new acoustic architecture powered by 14 drivers (including special tweeters) and a new feature called Sound Motion that helps produce more bass using the four-motor, dual-membrane woofer, as is traditionally expected from a soundbar of its size.

In total, the soundbar has fifteen Class-D digital amplifiers, seven silk-dome tweeters, and six midwoofers to ensure a crisp and clear audio experience. The Sonos Arc Ultra features a 9.1.4 channel setup, firing sound in different directions to create a higher sense of immersion. The speaker also supports Dolby Atmos.

Using the Sonos app (available on Android and iOS), users can optimize the sound output according to the size of their room and the placement of the soundbar. For hands-free control, the soundbar works with Sonos Voice Control and Amazon Alexa. In addition, the device is also compatible with AirPlay 2 on Apple devices running iOS 11.4 or higher.

Sonos claims that the speaker accentuates vocal clarity, and a new feature called speech enhancement allows users to adjust the clarity of dialogue. On the inside, the soundbar features a quad-core (1.9GHz) CPU paired with 2GB of SDRAM and 8GB of non-volatile memory. Connectivity options on the Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar include Wi-Fi 6, HDMI eARC, and Bluetooth v5.3.

The Sonos Arc Ultra cost Rs. 99,999.

Sonos Sub 4 Subwoofer

Sonos Sub 4 Subwoofer

Designed with Sonos-engineered drivers (two 5″ x 8″ elliptical woofers), the Sub 4 subwoofer generates deep, dynamic low end for enhanced bass. Given the inward placement of the woofers, the device creates a force-cancelling effect that eliminates distortion. Unlike traditional subwoofers, the Sub 4 doesn’t require much space.

The Sub 4 is compatible with the following products: Arc Ultra, Beam (Gen 2), Ray, Era 300, Arc, Beam (Gen 1), Give, and Era 100. Connectivity options on the device include dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Per the official specifications page, the subwoofer also features a quad-core 1.9GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and 5GB of eMMC storage.

The Sonos Sub 4 costs Rs. 84,999.
