Sennheiser Launches New One-Channel Profile Wireless Microphone System: Check Specs & Price Here

The German audio products manufacturer has launched the single-channel version of the Profile Wireless microphone system. It comes in a compact bag and includes a second USB charging cable instead of the charging bar of the two-channel version.

Sennheiser Profile Wireless 1-Channel Mic: Key Features

While a two-channel version of the same microphone is already available in India, Sennheiser has launched the Profile Wireless 1-channel version to cater to the needs of users (such as professionals or creators) who require just one microphone.

Like the two-channel version, the one-channel version offers plug-and-play usability. You can use the microphone with a variety of devices, including cameras, smartphones, and laptops. One can also combine it with an external lavalier microphone or use it to create a wireless boom.

As mentioned in the official press release, the microphone has an operating time of up to seven hours. Further, it has 16GB of onboard memory that can store up to 30 hours of internal recording. Among other key features are signature Sennheiser sound, 21-bit float recording capability, a Backup Recording Mode, and an OLED receiver display.

In the box, there’s a clip-on microphone with a magnetic mount (for increased portability) and a pre-installed windshield. You also get two USB cables, Lightning and USB-C adapters, a shoe mount adapter, and a camera cable. What’s interesting is that the microphone comes with a receiver that includes two channels (for future-proofing).
