Following their Korean debut, Samsung’s new 4K gaming monitors are poised for an imminent release in India. Among the key features of the gaming monitor are its AI-driven features, higher refresh rates than previous models, and high-fidelity OLED panels. Samsung already sells its Odyssey G series of gaming monitors in India, and it could add new models to it soon.

  • First up on the list is the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF model), which, per the company, is the first 27-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160) OLED gaming monitor that packs in 165 pixels per inch and has a refresh rate of 240Hz.
  • Then there’s the Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF model), which is even more likely to be unveiled in the Indian market. Samsung claims it to be the first-ever OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate in a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) screen.

Some common features on the Samsung gaming monitors include a response time of 0.03ms (GTG), support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync for less tear and flickering, and a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification (to ensure that the monitor produces rick darks without issues like bloom or color bleed).

Last but not least, both monitors have a glare-free OLED screen that keeps away the reflections and glare on the screen to reduce distraction while gaming.

The monitor has a 32-inch 4K OLED screen with a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
