Samsung has launched the Galaxy A17 5G in India, expanding its affordable A-series lineup. The Galaxy A17 5G comes in Black, Grey, and Blue colors. The Galaxy A17 5G is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset built on a 5nm process with an octa-core CPU (up to 2.4 GHz). It offers up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage expandable via microSD up to 2TB. It runs One UI 7 based on Android 15, promising 6 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, a plastic frame, weighs 192g, and measures 7.5mm in thickness. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner too.
