New Prices Will Increase ARPU, And We Expect The Service To Improve Proportionally

It is understandable that the company needs more revenue to expand its services and provide the best available technology to its users, but in pursuit of that, but forgetting what helped the company make its position in the country isn’t exactly correct. The telecom giant has over 46 crore users in India, and a significant portion comes from the lower tier regions, where the per capita income isn’t exactly high.

Then, there are millions of students or early-stage employees who rely on Jio’s services to fulfill both their personal and professional commitments. Yes, mobile internet charges remain one of the most affordable globally, but India still remains at the 16th position in Ookla’s global mobile internet index, with an average speed of 107.37 Mbps. Nonetheless, users still have the option to purchase the plans at the older rates before July 3, 2024.
