A mysterious Realme smartphone has been making its appearance across certification sites including the latest TENAA, China’s radio certification, among others. It makes it apparent that Realme is gearing up for the imminent launch of the phone bearing model number RMX3993 and it could be Realme GT Neo 6. Let’s check out the latest deeds.

Realme RMX3993 Spotted on TENAA

The specifications as tipped by many sources suggest an octa-core chipset with a max 2.2GHz although that seems counterintuitive given GT Neo 5 had a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 clocked at 3.0GHz of max frequency, Thus, we believe there will be changes in terms of SoC although that remains to be seen. RAM options onboard range from 4GB to 12GB and the storage at 64GB up to 512GB. There’s likely a microSD card slot with the RM3993 that should take the storage up to 1 TB. It wasn’t the case with the GT Neo 5 (RMX3706).

According to the sources, RMX3993 brings a 5,000mAh battery which is again the same as the last-gen. It is typically rated at 4,890mAh. There’s no word around charging speeds although we are positive it is expected to be around 150W wired tech compared to the Neo 5.

About the optics, Realme GT Neo 6 will bring onboard a 50MP primary plus 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP micro cam.

The phone appears to have 165.6 x 76.1 x 7.89mm dimensions along with 209g in weight. For comparison, the Realme GT Neo 5 has dimensions of 163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9mm and weighs 199g. This makes the GT Neo 6 a bit taller, slimmer, and a bit bulkier than its predecessor.

Lastly, we have an under-the-display fingerprint scanner, USB-C 2.0, NFC, IR port, a stereo speaker setup, Bluetooth v5.3, Wi-Fi dual-band AC, and GPS, among others.
