Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has launched the Poco F7 Series 5G globally, including two smartphones, Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra 5G. The Poco F7 Ultra is the top-end model in the lineup, followed by Poco F7 Pro. The vanilla Poco F7 5G has not been talked about, but it is tipped to arrive in India next month. Poco F7 Pro is the successor to Poco F6 Pro that was launched in 2024, but it is the first time that when Ultra model has debuted in the F-lineup.

Poco F7 Pro: Specs

Poco F7 Pro flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz touch sampling rate, DC Dimming, HDR10+, and 3200 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The smartphone draws juice from a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired charging speed. The Poco F7 Pro also comes with Surge G1 battery and Surge P3 charging chips for better optimization.

In terms of camera, it features a dual lens setup at the back, including a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. At the front is a 20MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Additional features include a fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3D ultrasonic scanner, an IP68 rating, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7, and dual SIM support.

Poco F7 Ultra: Specs

Poco F7 Ultra is the top-end model in the lineup. It is the flagship offering by the brand in the F-Series, placed above Poco F7 Pro. The Poco F7 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with the VisionBoost D7 GPU Chip for 120fps gaming and 2k resolution upscaling. It supports up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage onboard. Thermal management will be handled by a dual-channel IceLoop cooling system spanning 5400 mm2 for sustained performance.

The smartphone flaunts a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED screen with 3200 nits brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support. The device is Poco’s first to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner with 21% slimmer bottom bezels. Under the hood, it packs a 5300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging speed.

In terms of camera, there is a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS at the back, along with a 32MP ultrawide and 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens. Surge T1S signal chip improves cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity, and additional features include IP68 rating, Hi-Res audio, IR blaster, and more. Poco F7 Ultra runs HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 with promised four OS upgrades and six security upgrades.

The Poco F7 Pro has arrived in the global market in two storage configurations-
