TL; DR
  • The POCO F7 is launching in India on June 24, at 5:30 PM.
  • It will feature a 7,550 mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
  • The device is expected to rival the iQOO Neo 10, the OnePlus Nord 5, and the realme GT 7T.

After a week of steady teasers, POCO has finally locked in the date: the POCO F7 is launching globally and in India on June 24. The Indian reveal is scheduled for 5:30 PM, and unlike the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra that skipped the Indian market, this one is making it here.

The brand has already confirmed that the F7 will pack a massive 7,550 mAh battery with 90W fast charging (global unit will feature 6,000 mAh). That alone makes it one of the largest batteries in any phone in India to date. But it doesn’t stop there, it also supports reverse wired charging at up to 22.5W, so it can double as a power bank for your earbuds or other phones.

The design of the POCO F7 is quite different from the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. It has that gamer look at the black and comes in three color options, if we were to believe the recently leaked renders.

As for the rest of the hardware, the POCO F7 is heavily based on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro from China, and while POCO hasn’t shared everything officially, the leaks have painted a fairly complete picture. The phone is expected to feature a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

For cameras, we’re looking at a 50MP main shooter with OIS, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front will house a 20MP selfie camera. Additional specs IP68 ingress protection, include dual stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and HyperOS 2 software.

With the launch just a week away, the POCO F7 will go up against some big names in the upper mid-range space, including the OnePlus Nord 5 (launching July 8), realme GT 7T, and the iQOO Neo 10.
