TL;DR
  • POCO F7 5G is expected to launch in May 2025.
  • It will arrive in India too, along with global markets.
  • Poco F7 5G might be a rebrand of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched two smartphones in the F7 Lineup, namely the POCO F7 Pro & POCO F7 Ultra in March 2025, and now the brand seems to be gearing up for the third member of the family, the vanilla POCO F7 5G. The base model has been tipped to arrive in late May 2025. POCO F7 5G is also expected to arrive in India after it launches in China or globally.

Though Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be announced today in China, the phone has been in leaks for a while now. It is expected to get a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device might get a 20MP front camera and a 50MP+8MP setup at the back. The mid-frame of the smartphone might be made of metal, and it is said to draw power from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Under the hood, Redmi Turbo 4 Pro might pack a 7550mAh battery with 90W wired charging and run Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out of the box. Additional features include an IR blaster, an IP68/IP69 rating, and more.

If the rebrand does come true, we might see POCO F7 sharing some of these specs with Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. However, some features might be different, like battery capacity.
