OriginOS 6 Preview Rolls Out for vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13

vivo has started its OriginOS 6 preview program, giving owners of the vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 the first opportunity to test the new operating system ahead of its official release. The program begins on September 29 (which is today), and selected participants will gain early access to the software, with their feedback helping shape the final version.

This preview phase marks the first step in the global rollout of OriginOS 6, which will replace Funtouch OS across vivo and iQOO devices. Built on Android 16, the new OS will focus on a modern design language, fluid navigation, and more customization.

To participate, users must first ensure their devices are updated to the required firmware: 15.0.14.1 or higher for the X200 Pro, and 15.0.13.9 or higher for the iQOO 13. Once updated, registration can be done directly from the device by navigating to:

Settings > System Update > 3-dot menu (top right) > Version Trial > Closed Beta Sign-Up > View Details.

After completing the registration form, vivo’s team will review the applications and notify eligible users with next steps. The deadline is set for October 8, 2025. Not everyone who registers will be selected, but those who are accepted will receive the OriginOS 6 beta software as part of the closed preview.

OriginOS 6 is expected to deliver a major visual refresh with a redesigned control center, new lock screen customization tools, and improved animations. vivo is also placing a big emphasis on personalization, letting users tweak layouts, themes, and interactions more deeply than before.

The official launch of OriginOS 6 is scheduled for October 10 in China, with an India release to follow on October 15. Until then, X200 Pro and iQOO 13 users are at the front of the line, getting a taste of the future software experience before it arrives on other models.
