Oppo is all set for its next launch aka the Reno12 series in June 2024. Turns out, we just got our hands on leaked Oppo Reno12 specifications coming from Digital Chat Station that details a newer MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC under the hood.
If the leaked renders are true and on-point, we could see major similarities between the Reno11 and Reno12 series. It will have a triple camera setup arranged in a rectangular camera bump with curved edges. Sources suggest that Reno12 will have a curved display and a thin build and the same should propagate to the Reno12 Pro as well.
Oppo Reno12 Specifications Leaked
The leaked specs suggest a 50MP primary snapper at the back coupled with a 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and f/2.0 aperture. Finally, there’s an 8MP ultrawide camera. We are yet to find intel on its front cameras although keeping in line with the Reno11 series, we should hope for a 32MP front snapper.
The phone carries a 5000mAh battery pack under the hood paired with 80W fast charging tech which is the same as Reno11 launched a few months ago.
DCS has been an accredited source for a lot of smartphones. He points out a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC on-board that should give the phone a major boost in performance over Dimensity 7050 SoC found in Reno11. Additionally, there’s 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage as well.
Previous reports have pointed out the phone to get a curved 1.5K resolution display paired with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have an IP65 rating against water and dust which has become a norm nowadays.
When it comes to the launch, the Reno12 series is heading for a June 2024 launch marking its bi-yearly launch schedule. We still have a few months to spare and that gives us countless opportunities to revisit these specs and get concrete specs as well.
