Last week, tech companies Oppo and vivo introduced new smartphones in India, which are now available for purchase starting today. Oppo unveiled the K13x 5G, touted as the most durable device under 15k, while vivo revealed the Y400 Pro 5G, a mid-range successor to the Y300 that was released in 2024. The starting price for the Oppo K13x 5G is Rs. 11,999, whereas the vivo Y400 Pro begins at Rs. 24,999. Both smartphones can be purchased online and offline in India from today. Oppo K13x 5G: Price & Availability

The Oppo K13x 5G comes in three storage configurations in India-

4GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 11,999
6GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 12,999
8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 14,999

It goes on sale today via Flipkart and Oppo India store at 12:00 PM IST and will be available in Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach colors.

Buyers can avail of instant discounts of Rs. 1000 on 4GB and 6GB variants and Rs. 2000 on the 8GB variants with select bank offers on day one of the sale. They can also opt for an exchange bonus of Rs. 1000 and an additional no-cost EMI option for three months.

The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G will be available in two storage variants-

8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 24,999
8GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 26,999

The smartphone is now up for sale in the country, and vivo is offering promotional benefits including 10% cashback with select bank cards, no cost EMI, and a discounted TWS 3e ANC earbuds price at Rs. 1499. Perks also include a one-year extended warranty, a 20% discount on the V-Shield screen protection plan, and free OTT subscriptions for Jio prepaid users. These offers are available between June 20-30 and July 1-15 for specific benefits. It comes in Freestyle White, Fest Gold, and Nebula Purple hues. You can buy it via Flipkart, Amazon, and retail stores across India.

Oppo K13x 5G: Specifications

The Oppo K13x 5G flaunts a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits peak brightness, along with Panda Glass Protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 and gets AI features like Gemini, AI Summary, AI Recorder, and AI Studio.

In terms of camera, the smartphone sports a 50MP main sensor with an OV50D sensor along with a 2MP portrait sensor at the back and an 8MP selfie camera at the front. The device is MIL-STD 810H durable and gets an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, it packs a 6000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and weighs 194 grams. The dimensions are 165.71×76.24×7.99mm, and connectivity options include 5G, 4G Volte, Bluetooth 5.4, GLONASS, and USB Type-C.

vivo Y400 Pro 5G: Specifications

The vivo Y400 Pro 5G sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR playback support, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 4500 nits maximum brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. Under the hood, it draws power from a 5500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging. There is support for bypass charging as well.

As for cameras, there is a dual-lens setup at the back, including a 50MP main and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front is a 32MP selfie sensor for video calls. The smartphone runs FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15, and vivo has promised 3 OS updates and 4 security patches for the device. AI features include Focus Mode, AI Recorder, AI Document, Circle to Search, AI Screen Translation, AI Live Text, and AI Super Link. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C port for charging and file transfers. It is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance.
