Last year, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer released the OnePlus Pad, a relatively balanced Android tablet that offered decent specifications at an affordable price. Now, the company is planning to release the rightful successor to the tablet, the OnePlus Pad Pro. Yes, there’s Pro in the name, implying that the device will feature flagship-tier specifications. In fact, the company is teasing the device to be the most powerful Android tablet ever.

OnePlus Pad Pro Design Revealed

The first teaser from the company showcases the OnePlus Pad Pro in two colors: light green and gray. The tablet seems to carry a similar design as the OnePlus Pad, with symmetrical bezels on each side and a centrally located camera cutout on the rear. Interestingly, the teaser also contains a glimpse of the tablet’s accessories, including a folio case with a keyboard and a stylus.

Which Chipset Will The Upcoming Tablet Feature?

Further, to make it the most powerful Android tablet, OnePlus would have to equip it with the most capable chipset for Android devices. Currently, there are two models that fit their criteria: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. However, given that MediaTek has been more aggressive with its pricing to businesses, there’s a chance that OnePlus could go with the Dimensity 9300+ SoC.

However, in the United States, Qualcomm’s chips are more popular. Hence, it isn’t easy to speculate about the brand’s choice. Other specifications of the tablet could include a high refresh-rate screen, an OLED panel to compete with other flagship tablets, a large battery, and multiple memory/storage options. Most recently, the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station uploaded several images of the upcoming OnePlus Pad Pro in green.
