One UI 8 Beta Rolling Out To More Users In Korea & UK, Indian Users To Get Beta Update Soon

Galaxy S24 & Galaxy Z Fold6/Flip6 Users Get One UI 8 Beta

According to a report by Android Authority, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 8 beta program to its older devices. These include the Galaxy S24 series (including the flagship version) and its Galaxy Z Fold 6 / Flip 6 foldables.

Size & Version Number

As mentioned in the report, the One UI 8 beta for Galaxy S24 occupies 3.2GB of storage space. Further, the version number is “S926BXXU9ZYH3/ S926BOXM9ZYH3/S926BXXU9CYH3.” The beta upgrade also brings with it a new security patch (August 1, 2025).

Compatibility With Unlocked Version

Currently, the update is rolling out to Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra beta users in Korea (the company’s native market) and the United Kingdom. However, it should also be available for eligible beta users in India and the United States in the coming days.

It’s worth mentioning here that the update is only rolling out for unlocked Galaxy S24 series variants, not the ones that are locked to carriers.

One UI 8 Stable Update Is Presently Delayed

A couple of days ago, we reported on how Samsung has delayed the stable One UI 8 update to boost sales of its latest foldables. On the positive side, Samsung promised to release the One UI 8 beta for particular Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series handsets, and that is happening.
