Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus Launched

Meizu launched its much-awaited smartphones, Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus in China. The highlight of the phone is the 1.9inch AMOLED display at the back just below primary camera.

The rear display will be a mirror screen that can be used as a notification window and for media control. The lower model, Pro 7 will come in black, gold and red, whereas the slightly upgraded Pro 7 Plus will come in matte black, silver, and gold color options.

Talking about Pro 7 features, the phone has 5.2 inch Quad HD display powered by MediaTek Helio P25. The processor is supported by 4GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal storage. To keep the phone alive is the 3,000 mAh battery. The Pro 7 model, as well as the Plus variant, will run Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme 6 skin on top.

In the optics department, the phone’s rear includes dual-camera setup – 12MP + 12MP and on the front a 16MP selfie shooter.

On the other hand, Pro 7 Plus carry almost similar feature as to basic P7, but with a slight difference in screen, RAM, and battery. The model has considerably larger display size – 5.7inch, more RAM – 6GB, and a bigger battery- 3500mAh. The processor used in Pro 7 Plus is also different than the Pro 7, it MediaTek Helio P30 processor.

Both P7 and P7 Plus smartphone will go on sale in China from August 5 and have been priced at $430 (or approx Rs 27,569) for Pro 7, and $530 ( or approx Rs 33,981) for the Pro 7 Plus. We don’t expect it to arrive this side of the border before the year end.
