Earlier this year, LG showcased its OLED evo M5 at the Consumer Electronics Show, promising to make it available globally in a few months. The television strives to combine the display quality of LG’s flagship G5 series with the company’s wireless technology. Most recently, LG started rolling out the OLED evo M5 series in select markets.

As mentioned earlier, the LG evo M5 features a 4K OLED panel that delivers exceptional clarity, contrast, and vibrance. When compared to LED or Mini LED panels, an OLED panel produces true blacks and exceptionally bright whites, which is immediately noticeable.

The television features LG’s Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2, which unlocks features like AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro (11.1.2-channel audio). It also sports Brightness Booster Ultimate, which can increase the screen brightness by up to three times compared to regular OLED models.

While the LG evo M5 excels in picture quality, it also comes with LG’s True Wireless technology. The Zero Connect Box is capable of lossless wireless video and audio transmission, delivering content with low input lag and supporting up to 4K at a 144Hz refresh rate.

It’s the only wireless TV that’s compatible with both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies, ensuring a stutter-free gaming experience (certified for a response time of less than 0.1 ms). Given that the Zero Connect Box features multiple connections, it lets users place their consoles or other connected devices within reach.

Currently, the LG evo M5 is available in Hong Kong, where it costs around Rs. 3.80 lakhs for the baseline 65-inch model (converted price). It is also available in 77-inch, 83-inch, and 97-inch models. Although the television isn’t available in India yet, there’s a good chance that the company will release it in the near future.
