- While the Syros and Sonet are sub-4 meter SUVs, the former is 15mm wider and 39mm taller than the latter. As a result, Syros should provide more shoulder room for accommodating three people, along with increased headroom for tall passengers.
- Kia Syros has a longer wheelbase than the Sonet, which should make the ride more stable.
- Although the higher variants of the Syros have adjustable rear seats that increase the boot space, the HTK (O) variant has 390 liters of boot space, which is almost equal to that of the Sonet.
