Hyundai is gearing up to set the stage for the festive season with the launch of the i20 facelift in India. This updated version, previously unveiled overseas a few months ago, brings a host of stylistic enhancements, a refreshed interior, and an array of safety features as standard. Notably, the introduction of a new base variant has made the starting price even more appealing.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Price

In terms of pricing, the newly launched Hyundai i20 facelift offers a competitive range, with prices starting at an attractive Rs 7 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). As customers explore the various trim levels and options, the prices for this premium hatchback extend up to Rs 11.01 lakh, providing flexibility to suit a wide range of preferences and budgets.

Hyundai i20 Facelift Design And Features

The most noticeable changes in the updated i20 are concentrated in its exterior design, especially the front end. The LED headlights have undergone a restyling, and the front grille now features the Hyundai emblem prominently placed at the hatchback’s nose.

Notably, both the front and rear bumpers have been revised, and the fog light housings have been eliminated for a cleaner aesthetic. The design of the 16-inch alloy wheels, exclusively available on the Asta and Asta (O) variants, adds to the overall look. Additionally, a new ‘Amazon Grey’ paint option is now among the choices available for buyers.

Inside the i20, the noticeable changes include a dual-tone color scheme featuring black and light grey elements. Additionally, a volume control knob has been introduced for the infotainment system, and a flat-bottom steering wheel adds a sporty touch to the cabin. However, the overall dashboard layout and touchscreen remain consistent with the previous design.

In terms of safety enhancements, the i20 has taken a significant step forward. Now, all variants come equipped with six airbags as standard, making it the second most affordable Hyundai model to offer this level of airbag protection. Furthermore, the standard safety features encompass electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, anti-lock braking system (ABS), vehicle stability management, and more.

The Hyundai i20 now offers a solitary engine choice, featuring a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine that delivers 83 bhp (or 87 bhp in the automatic variant) and a torque of 114.7 Nm.
