How to watch Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro Launch Live Online

Vivo is all set to host its first launch of 2024 for India. The brand will announce the photography-centric Vivo X100 Series of smartphones in the country tomorrow (4 January). The Vivo X100 Series will feature two devices- Vivo X100 5G and Vivo X100 Pro 5G. The series has already been launched in China, so we do have an idea about the features and pricing of the smartphones.

Before we talk about expected India pricing and features, check out how you can watch the launch event live online.

Vivo X100 Series: Livestreaming Details

The Vivo X100 Series will be launched in India on 4th January at 12 PM IST. The launch event will be live-streamed via Vivo India’s social media handles, namely X and YouTube. Here is the link to watch the event live tomorrow.

Vivo X100 Series: Expected Price

The vanilla Vivo X100 5G smartphone is expected to come in 2 storage models and be priced below 70k. The 12GB RAM+256GB storage variant is said to cost Rs. 63,999 while the high-end 16GB RAM+512GB storage model might cost Rs. 69,999.

The Vivo X100 Pro 5G is said to come in a lone 16GB RAM+512GB storage variant for Rs. 89,999.

The Vivo India microsite page for the Vivo X100 Series has also gone live. The smartphones will come in Sunset Yellow, Startrail Blue, and Asteroid Black shades.

Vivo X100 5G: Specs (expected)

The Vivo X100 5G is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The smartphone will run Android 14 OS and support Dual nano SIM cards.

In terms of camera optics, the Vivo X100 5G will feature a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization along with a 50MP ultrawide and a 64MP telephoto lens at the back. At the front will be a 32MP selfie snapper. Additional features include USB Type-C charging, stereo speakers, Hi-Fi audio, IP68 rating, 5G connectivity, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, NFC, and much more.

Under the hood, it is said to feature a 5000mAh battery with 120W ultra-fast charging. The Vivo X100 5G will weigh 202-206 grams and its dimensions will be 164.05×75.19×8.49mm.

Vivo X100 Pro 5G: Specs (expected)

The Vivo X100 Pro 5G will sport the same 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 3000 nits brightness, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 4nm SoC paired with Immortalis G720 GPU. There will be 16GB RAM and 512GB storage as well.

Vivo X100 Pro 5G will run Android 14 OS out of the box and sport a triple camera setup at the back. It includes a 50MP main lens with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. Vivo will include a V3 imaging chip as well for better photography. At the front will be a 32MP selfie lens. Additional features include USB Type-C charging, stereo speakers, Hi-Fi audio, IP68 rating, 5G connectivity, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NavIC, NFC, and much more.

Vivo X100 Pro 5G will reportedly draw juice from a large 5400mAh battery with 100W flash fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will weigh 221-225 grams and have a thickness of 9mm.
