Housefull 5, the fifth instalment in the popular Housefull franchise released in theatres on 6th June 2025, and this time with a twist as the movie had two versions, 5A & 5B to choose from. The movie came out after a wait of almost six years after Housefull 4, and the excitement among the fans was sky high. Packed with a massive starcast, the movie opened up to mixed reviews and managed to collect around 185 crores worldwide, declaring it a hit but not a blockbuster. For those of you who didn’t get to catch the movie in theatres, there is good news as starting today, Housefull 5 will be available on OTT. Housefull 5A & 5B: OTT Streaming Platform & Date
Housefull 5 is available to rent on the OTT Platform Amazon Prime Video. Both Housefull 5A & 5B versions can be rented. From 1st August, the movie will be free for all Prime Video subscribers. Currently, you can rent it for Rs. 349 in UHD picture quality. Post renting it you can start watching the movie within 30 days and have to complete it within 48 hours once started.

The trailer for the film was released on 27th May, and this 4-minute-long video gave a glimpse into the mad world of the Housefull 5 gang. It has garnered 600k+ likes and 30 million+ views on YouTube. Watch the trailer below.

Housefull 5: Cast & Crew
The Massive starcast of the movie includes Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Chunkey Pandey, Jacqueline Fernandes, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Sen, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Johnny Lever, Nana Patekar, Shreyas Talpade, Soundarya Sharma, and others.
It is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and has been produced under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
Housefull 5A & 5B: Plot
This is the fifth movie in the Housefull franchise, and it is full of slapstick humor, mistaken identities, whodunit questions, chaotic situations, and more. It revolves around a group of friends and their misadventures as they try to impersonate Jolly for Ranjeet’s wealth. On the ship, they find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery where a killer is on the loose.
The film has two versions, 5A & 5B, the difference being that one main character is killed and six people are prime suspects; the two versions have different killers, the rest of the movie being the same.
The movie opened to mixed reviews despite featuring a massive starcast and has a rating of around 4/10 on IMDb.

Housefull 1-Aarush is an unlucky man and carries his bad luck wherever he goes. His quest to find love only makes his life more miserable as he ends up in complicated situations. You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
Housefull 2- Four men join hands to date and marry the women of their dreams by changing their identities and deceiving their prospective fathers-in-law. You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
Housefull 3- A rich businessman does not want his three daughters to get married because of a superstitious belief. Now, their boyfriends must prove to him that they are perfect for his daughters. You can watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
Housefull 4- Three brothers are set to marry three sisters. However, a peek into the distant past reveals to one of the brothers that their brides have been mixed up in their current reincarnation. You can watch it on JioHotstar.
Is Housefull 6 in the pipeline?
While there is no official confirmation, Housefull 5 received mixed reviews. However, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has been hinting at Housefull 6 during the trailer launch of Housefull 5. Even Actress Soundarya Sharma said in an interview that she hopes to be a part of Housefull 6 as well. So, Housefull 6 might be in the pipeline, but it will surely take some years for it to actually be ready for the audience.
