Honor India has launched a new mid-range handset: the Honor X7c 5G. It features a large 120Hz screen, a capable octa-core processor, and 256GB of storage, all at a relatively affordable price compared to its competitors. As mentioned in the official press release, the Honor X7c 5G will be available to purchase via Amazon from August 20 to 22, 2025. It comes in two colors: Forest Green and Moonlight White.

The handset has been priced at Rs. 14,999 for the standalone 8GB + 256GB model. This seems to be a special introductory pricing that might increase post the initial sale window.

The Honor X7c 5G sports a 6.8-inch TFT LCD screen (20.1:9) with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 850 nits.

Under the hood, the handset runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, which features two 2.2 GHz performance cores and six 1.95 GHz efficient cores, along with the Adreno 613 GPU, 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 16GB using virtual RAM technology), and 256GB of storage (UFS 3.1).

Out of the box, the handset runs on MagicOS 8.0, which is based on Android 14, but we don’t know about the support window yet. Anyway, the smartphone offers Honor’s AI Suite for adaptive performance tuning, intelligence power management, and responsive UI interactions.

For capturing pictures and recording videos, the Honor X7c 5G features a 50MP (f/1.8) primary camera, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie shooter. Some key camera-related features include Night, Portrait, and Pro mode. The handset supports 1080p video recording (likely at 30 fps).

Powering the handset is a 5,200 mAh lithium-ion battery that supports 35W Honor SuperCharge wired charging technology. Additional features on the handset include an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, support for 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone also comes with an SGS Drop & Crush certification for drop resistance.
