What Is Veo 3?

While there are other video generators on the market, Veo 3 offers native audio integration, generating realistic soundscapes, which include dialogue and background scores, all synchronized with the visuals. The current version of the AI-based tool lets users create eight-second videos (with sound) via Gemini.

“From reimagining historical events through the eyes of a modern influencer, to exploring what it would sound like to cut through a glass apple, to quite a few sightings of the mythical Bigfoot, your imagination is the limit when you create photos and videos on Gemini,” mentions Google’s official press release.

How Does Veo 3 Work?

  • First, you either type a prompt or an image that describes the video content in Gemini.
  • Veo 3 processes the input and generates a corresponding high-definition video with audio. The model incorporates realistic movements and physics simulation for creating short scenes.
  • It presents the video before you, following which you can perform text-based editing.

Besides generating video, the tool lets you perform text-based editing, simulate cinematic camera movements, and maintain character consistency.

Google Veo 3 Availability And Price

In a press release, Google announced that the Veo 3 AI video generator is now available in every country where the Gemini app is accessible, including India. However, only Gemini Pro subscribers can access the tool.

Although the official press release mentions that the Veo 3 tool is available with the Google AI Pro subscription, which costs Rs. 1,950 per month or Rs. 19,500 annually, and offers 2TB of cloud storage (along with other exclusive features), Google’s official website still lists the “Veo 2” as available. Perhaps Google will update the webpage soon.
