Just when you thought the flagship phone season for 2025 was coming to an end, vivo is set to make a splash in India. According to a reliable source, industry insider Yogesh Brar, the company is planning to launch the vivo X300 Series in India during the first week of December.
That means in just a few weeks, there’s going to be another flagship on the market, aimed directly at anyone considering the new iPhone 17 or OPPO’s Find X9 series, which launches in India on November 18.
vivo’s X-series whole identity in India is built around incredible cameras, especially for portraits. With the X300 series, it looks like the company is doubling down hard. The spec sheet, which we already have thanks to the phone’s earlier launch in China, is frankly a little wild.
vivo X300 series will ship with Origin OS6
vivo’s Funtouch OS has never been the fan favorite in the tech community. But that might be about to change. The X300 series will be the first lineup in India to ship with the brand-new OriginOS 6 right out of the box.
The new UI is reportedly a huge step up, focusing on a cleaner design, smoother animations, and a more intuitive user experience that finally ditches the clutter of its predecessor. For many, this software upgrade could be just as important as the camera hardware.
