London-based technology company Nothing has announced that its upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. The CMF Phone 1 was powered by the Dimensity 7300, and the Phone (3a) series is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. The performance of all the SoCs is quite similar.
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro: Performance Upgrades

The CMF Phone 2 Pro’s MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset brings minor improvements over the Dimensity 7300 in the CMF Phone 1. It delivers a 10% faster CPU performance, up to 5% better graphics rendering, plus a 53% network boost.
Not just that, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will also support 120 FPS on BGMI, with a 1000 Hz touch sampling rate, providing what Nothing claims is the segment’s best gaming experience. It makes sense for the CMF Phone 2 Pro to support 120 FPS since the CMF Phone 1 also supports it.
CMF Phone 2 Pro: Design and Expected Features

Previous teasers revealed the Phone 2 Pro’s triple-camera setup—likely a 50 MP main, 8 MP ultra-wide, and 2 MP macro lens—upgrading from the Phone 1’s dual-camera system. The device will retain CMF’s modular design with a screw-on back panel, as seen in a previous teaser.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W/45W charging, and run NothingOS 3.1 on Android 15. A charger and a case will be included in the box, a shift from Nothing’s earlier strategy, addressing user feedback from the Phone 1 launch.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will go official on April 28, at 6:30 PM, alongside a trio of TWS earbuds—CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2a, and CMF Buds 2 Plus. What are your thoughts on the CMF Phone 2 Pro being powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro? Let us know in the comments section below.
