Apple is all set to host an event during the WWDC 2024 wherein the brand will announce new Macs, iOS 18, New AI capabilities, and more. However, the big reveal will take place in September/October 2024 when Apple will launch the annual iPhone 16 Series. The iPhone 16 Series will have at least four smartphones- iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Recently, a tipster (Majin Bu) suggested that Apple might add a fifth iPhone to the lineup in the form of the iPhone 16 SE.
While the launch date is still months away, rumors around the iPhone 16 Series have been keeping the tech world hyped up. A few days after dummy images surfaced, now we have information about the batteries of the iPhone 16 Models. Rumors suggest battery size for iPhone 16 models will be larger than last year.

Apple iPhone 16 Series: Battery Details
A tipster on Weibo (Baby Baby Sauce) shared information about the battery capacities of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. iPhone 16 is expected to pack a 3561mAh battery (5.8% increase from iPhone 15) while the iPhone 16 Plus will draw juice from a 4006mAh battery (8.6% increase from iPhone 15 Plus).
Talking about the Pro Series, the iPhone 16 Pro is said to pack a 3555mAh battery (a 2% increase from the iPhone 15 Pro) while the highest iPhone 16 Pro Max might get a 4676mAh battery (an increase of 5.7% from the iPhone 15 Pro Max). Mostly Apple doesn’t reveal the exact battery capacities of iPhone models, but a teardown video claims that the battery will range between 3367mAh to 4422mAh.
Last year Apple equipped the iPhone 15 Series with lithium-ion batteries that offer up to 29 hours of playback on Pro Models. This time, it is expected to get even better.

Apple iPhone 16 Series: Expectations
iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are said to arrive with larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch display sizes respectively. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to retain display sizes similar to iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. The pro models will be powered by A18 Pro SoCs while the A17 chipset will power iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
The new addition iPhone 16 SE is tipped to have a 6.1-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a Dynamic Island feature.

Apple iPhone 16 Series: Pricing (Expected)
- iPhone 16 SE is expected to be priced around Rs. 58,000 for the 128GB model.
- iPhone 16 SE Plus (if it launches which is unlikely) is said to cost around Rs. 66,000 for the 256GB model.
- iPhone 16 will have a price tag of around Rs.58,000 for the 256GB variant while iPhone 16 Pro will cost around Rs. 83,000. The most premium iPhone 16 Pro Max model might be priced at around Rs. 92,000.
The launch is still months away so all these speculations regarding batteries, pricing, and the addition of a new model should still be taken with a pinch of salt.
