After the Prime Day sale, Amazon is back with the Great Freedom Sale, which begins July 31, 2025, at 12 PM IST, and runs through August 6. As part of the sale, the e-commerce platform is offering exciting discounts on smartphones from popular brands like Samsung, iQOO, OnePlus, realme, Apple, and Oppo. We’ve handpicked these deals based on how much value they offer for your money.
1. Samsung Galaxy M16 5G

- Listing Price: Rs. 17,499
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 12,249 (excluding card offers)
Starting from entry-level smartphones, the Galaxy M16 5G, with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, the Dimensity 6300 chipset, 25W fast wired charging, is available on Amazon for Rs. 12,249, down from the general listing price of Rs. Rs. 17,499.
What’s great about the Samsung handset is that it will receive a total of six generations of operating system updates. I don’t recommend the 4GB variant of the handset, as it might not be able to handle multiple apps as well as the 6GB variant.
2. iQOO Z10X 5G

- Listing Price: Rs. 17,499
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 13,498
If you want a slightly more powerful smartphone, which would give it more headroom to last over the years, the iQOO Z10x 5G (review) could be an excellent option.
It offers a 6.72-inch (120Hz) screen, the Dimensity 7300 (4nm) chipset, UFS 3.1 storage, and up to 256GB of storage. However, I’d recommend the 128GB baseline variant to buyers on a budget.
While the regular listing price of the baseline variant (with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage) is Rs. 17,499, the handset is available for a Great Freedom Sale price of Rs. 13,498.
3. iQOO Z10 5G

- Listing Price: Rs. 25,999
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 21,998
Moving up the price ladder, we have yet another recommendation that offers excellent value for your money, and that’s the iQOO Z10 5G (review). While it has a regular listing price of Rs. 25,999, the iQOO Z10 5G (8GB + 128GB) is currently available on Amazon for Rs. 21,998.
With the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, an AMOLED screen, and a massive 7,300 mAh battery, the handset offers better power and exceptional battery life than other options in the segment. On top of that, it also offers a 50MP IMX882 OIS primary camera and runs on Funtouch OS 15 (based on Android 15).
4. Samsung Galaxy A55 5G

- Regular Price: Rs. 45,999
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 26,999
The Galaxy A55 (review) sure came out in 2024, but the kind of discount it has received makes it a good option, primarily for buyers looking for a Samsung handset in budget for day-to-day tasks (not for gaming, video editing, or other demanding workflows).
While the regular price of the 256GB variant is Rs. 45,999, it is currently available on Amazon for Rs. 26,999 as part of the Great Freedom Sale, without including any card offers. In my opinion, the discount offsets the cons of the phone (primarily an underpowered chipset).
For the price, the handset offers a gorgeous 6.6-inch Super AMOLED (120Hz) screen, a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, and an IP67 rating (which adds to the overall durability).
5. OnePlus Nord 5

- Listing Price: Rs. 34,999
- Amazon Freedom Sale Price: Rs. 31,999
At just above Rs. 30,000, the Nord 5 (review) offers exceptional value for your money.
With its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (4nm) SoC, 8GB of faster LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the smartphone is capable of handling several demanding workflows, including rendering the popular battle royal video games BGMI and CODM at up to 144 frames per second (on a 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED screen).
Performance is not the only reason, as I’m also considering the phone’s 6,800 mAh battery (with bypass charging). With heavy usage, the phone delivered over eight hours of screen-on time (read more in our extensive Nord 5 review), and with light to moderate usage, it can easily last over a day between charges.
6. iQOO Neo 10

- Listing Price: Rs. 38,999
- Amazon Freedom Day Sale: Rs. 33,998
While the Nord 5 features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the iQOO Neo 10 (review) offers even better performance for an additional Rs. 2,000, as it features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (the same chipset that powers the Nothing Phone 3). For reference, it is almost as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (if not better).
Along with the powerful chipset, the handset also features a 1.5K AMOLED (144Hz) refresh rate, a 7,000 mAh battery (which can easily last over a day in a single charge) that supports 120W super-fast wired charging, and a 50MP Sony primary sensor that can record 4K videos at up to 60 fps.
7. OnePlus 13R

- Listing Price: Rs. 44,999
- Amazon Freedom Day Sale: Rs. 39,999
Now that we’re in the “flagship killer” category, we can’t think of a better phone than the OnePlus 13R (review). With a lifetime display warranty, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (top-tier) processor, and a 6,000 mAh battery, the handset can handle the most demanding workflows without a flinch. During the Amazon Great Freedom sale, you can get the phone at a discounted price.
Apart from a 6.78-inch LTPO 4.1 AMOLED screen, OxygenOS 15 (with up to four operating system upgrades), 12GB of LODDR5X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, the handset also features a 50MP (f/2.0) secondary telephoto camera (for 2x optical zoom). The only con, however, is that its front camera is limited to 1080p video recording (30 fps).
8. realme GT 7

- Listing Price: Rs. 45,999
- Amazon Freedom Day Sale: Rs. 39,998
While the OnePlus 13R is quite capable, the realme GT 7 (review) offers a bigger battery, i.e., a 7,000 mAh cell that supports 120W fast wired charging. In addition, the handset runs on the Dimensity 9400e, which unlocks 4K 120fps video recording via the primary camera.
In addition, the handset offers 360-degree IceSense Cooling with Graphene, four major operating system updates, and 120fps gameplay on BGMI. You also get 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
9. iPhone 16e

- Listing Price: Rs. 59,900
- Amazon Freedom Day Sale: Rs. 49,999
If you’re thinking about getting an iPhone, but you don’t want to flip your wallet upside down for the top-tier models that cost a fortune, you can consider the iPhone 16e (hands-on review). Keep in mind that you don’t get a multi-camera system on the back, or the Dynamic Island that’s present on the recent models.
However, what you do get is Apple’s A18 chip (same as the baseline iPhone 16), access to the entire suite of Apple Intelligence (what the company calls its AI-based features), a 6.1-inch OLED screen with the Face ID system, and 128GB of storage. In addition to these, the iPhone 16e offers a better battery life than the baseline iPhone 16, thanks to Apple’s first C1 modem, which is highly efficient.
10. Oppo Reno 14 Pro

- Listing Price: Rs. 54,999
- Amazon Freedom Day Sale: Rs. 49,998
The Reno 14 Pro (review) brings Oppo’s flagship camera system to a more affordable price, especially during the Amazon Freedom Day Sale.
It includes three 50MP sensors: a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) primary sensor, a 50MP (f/2.8, OIS) sensor paired with a 3.5x optical zoom lens (up to 120x Super Digital Zoom), and another 50MP (f/2.0) ultrawide sensor with autofocus. On the front, the handset comes with a 50MP selfie shooter with autofocus.
Beyond the camera sensors, the handset offers a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen, runs on the Dimensity 8340 (4nm), which might feel slightly underpowered given we’ve already talked about Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 or Apple’s A18 chip, and a massive 6,200 mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
12. iPhone 15 (256GB)

- Listing Price: Rs. 79,900
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 68,999
If you’re not sold on the iPhone 16e, you can go with the iPhone 15’s 256GB variant. However, you’d have to compromise on Apple Intelligence. But if that doesn’t bother you, the iPhone 15 is pretty capable in itself.
First of all, it looks better in hand, thanks to the Dynamic Island and the dual-rear camera (with a diagonal alignment). Although not as powerful as the A18, iPhone 15’s A16 Bionic chip is pretty powerful as well; it shouldn’t bother you for the next few years.
Further, the phone has a dual-rear camera system, with a 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera.
13. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

- Listing Price: Rs. 1,34,999
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 79,999
Although the Galaxy S24 Ultra (review) was available for Rs. 74,999 during the recent Amazon Prime Day sale, it still offers exceptional value for your money at Rs. 80,000 during the Great Freedom Sale.
Without going into much detail, the S24 Ultra is one of Samsung’s best models, and even otherwise, one of the best traditional, non-foldable smartphones money can buy. It excels in nearly all aspects, whether it is display quality, camera quality (or flexibility), processing power, battery life, or software support.
14. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

- Listing Price: Rs. 1,64,999
- Amazon Great Freedom Sale: Rs. 1,24,999
Like the S24 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (review) needs no introduction either. It is one of the most popular book-style foldable phones to have ever existed in the market, primarily due to Samsung’s robust supply chain and global availability.
The phone sure is a bit heavier and thicker than the newly-launched Fold 7, but you can get it at an effective price of under Rs. 1,20,000, if you have an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. Some of my local retail friends also told me that they’re selling the phone for around the same price (or possibly even lower), which could be helpful to you.
