2025 Tata Altroz Design: Exterior And Interior

Tata seems to have worked on the Altroz facelift’s exterior design, as the mid-generation update looks sleeker. The front fascia gets a major design revamp, as it gets new LED headlights with refreshed DRLs (daytime running LEDs) and fog lamps toward the bottom. If you look closely, the front bumper, especially its lower part, resembles the one on the new Nexon, Harrier, and Safari.

Moreover, the front bumper doesn’t have a rounded front end like the one on the outgoing Altroz. It has a blacked-out horizontal panel that runs across its width, along with a broader bottom grill. The vehicle’s side profile is dominated by the new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, flush-type door handles (for the front doors, the first for the segment), and a sloping roofline.

Other notable visual elements are body-colored ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and black A, B, and C pillars. On the back, the vehicle features a connected LED taillight, a hint of spoilers at the top, a rear defogger, a wiper/washer, a black horizontal panel, and thick black cladding toward the bottom (which gives the vehicle an aggressive look).

The 2025 Tata Altroz is available in five colors: Dune Glow, Pristine White, Royal Blue, Ember Glow, and Pure Gray.

On the inside, the 2025 Tata Altroz borrows several elements from the Nexon and Curvv. For instance, there’s the two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo and media/driver assistance buttons, dual 10.25-inch screens (one for the infotainment cluster and the other for the infotainment screen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), a touch-based climate control.

Additional features include cruise control, an eight-speaker Harman system, automatic headlights, a height-adjustable driver seat, 360-degree cameras, push-button start/stop, a single-pane sunroof, and Tata’s assurance of five-star safety (awarded a perfect score by Global NCAP). On the back, the rear seat armrest now gets cupholders, along with the rear AC vents.

2025 Tata Altroz Powertrain Options

The new Tata Altroz is available in three engine options, like the outgoing Altroz.

  • 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 88PS of peak power and 115Nm of peak torque. This particular engine has a five-speed manual and a six-speed DCT transmission.
  • 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol + CNG engine produces 73.5PS of peak power and 103Nm of peak torque. This particular engine combination is available with a five-speed manual transmission.
  • 1.5-liter diesel engine that produces 90PS of peak power and 200Nm of peak torque. It is combined with a five-speed manual transmission. In our opinion, this particular engine could have done better with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

2025 Tata Altroz Safety Features

Regarding safety features, the new Tata Altroz has six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, ISOFIX child seats, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). As mentioned earlier, the Altroz is one of the few hatchbacks in the segment that has scored a perfect five-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test.

2025 Tata Altroz Booking And Delivery

Reports suggest several dealerships have already commenced unofficial bookings for the new Altroz. Deliveries of the vehicle should begin soon, most likely by the end of this month or the beginning of the next month.
