Apple held its first-ever launch event of 2024 on 7th May wherein the brand refreshed the iPad lineup and also introduced new accessories for iPads. The ‘Let Loose event’ saw two new models of iPad Pro, two new models of iPad Air, Magic Keyboard, and Apple Pencil Pro being announced. Alongside all these new launches, Apple also announced a permanent price cut for its existing 10th-Gen iPad that was launched in October 2022. Apple iPad 10th Generation: New Prices
The 10th Generation iPad was launched for a starting price of Rs. 44,990 with the base model having 64GB storage. This WiFi-only model now costs Rs. 34,900.
The higher 256GB storage model was earlier priced at Rs. 59,900. This WiFi-only model now costs Rs. 49,900.
The iPad 10th generation WiFi+ Cellular model with 64GB storage that earlier cost Rs. 59,900 is now available for Rs. 49,900, while the 256GB model that was launched at Rs. 74,900 now costs Rs. 64,900.
This is a permanent price cut which means these prices won’t be changing anytime soon. Earlier iPad 10th Generation was available for under 30,000 INR during Flipkart’s Big Saving Days sale. For those who missed out on that deal, this new price can be a chance to get the iPad home.
The new prices are reflected on the Apple website as of now and are soon expected to be updated on other e-commerce portals as well.

Apple iPad 10th Gen: Is it worth buying?
Apple iPad 10th Generation sports a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display and is powered by A14 Bionic chipset. It has a 12MP main camera at the back and a 12MP wide-angle camera at the front. It comes with support for Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. The iPad packs a battery that runs up to 10 hours on a single charge. It comes in silver, blue, pink, and yellow colors and weighs between 477 to 481 grams. The iPad runs iPadOS 17.

Although the iPad is one and a half years old now it still has some of the best features. Apple has officially discontinued the iPad 9th Generation that was launched in 2021. It won’t be available on the Apple website now, but some third-party retailers might still sell it through various channels.
